SUNFLOWER GITES  are  traditional french cottages, set in the heart of the Charente - Maritime region of France. Soleil d' Or is a traditionly stone built Charentaise cottage,  Moulin Rouge, Soraya, Zebulon and Ikarus are an 18th century barn that has been converted  offering a quite rural retreat,with a large heated pool for the swimmers and splash pool for the toddlers. There is ample car parking, a childrens play area and large area for ball games, there is also bikes for you to use. Set in rolling countryside covered in sunflowers, vines and maize, it offers something  for everyone.

Situated just 1km out of the village of Gémozac, which is convenienty located for easy access to many historical towns such as Cognac, Saintes, Royan, Pons, Jonzac and Rochefort all within 10 - 45 minutes. If it is SUN, SEA and BEACHES you are looking for then there are approx 40 km of beach around Royan or just a short ferry crossing takes you to the atlantic coast of the Gironde where you can surf or just sit and watch the waves in amazement. Alternatively you can just take a stroll around many of the picturesque villages.
